Confirm whether the insert or retainer is damaged
Many systems use a replaceable flexible insert held by an aluminum or PVC retainer. If the retainer is bent, corroded or pulling away from the section, replacing only the rubber may not solve the leak.
Bring measurements, photos and a sample
Photograph the full lower section, both ends of the retainer and the profile of the old insert. Record door width and section thickness. When possible, keep a short sample so Sask Door can match the bead or channel shape.
Check the floor and perimeter too
A new bottom seal cannot correct a badly uneven slab, a door that closes out of level or missing side and top weatherstrip. Treat air, light and water entry as an opening-wide fit issue.
