Repair may be practical
A serviceable door with an isolated spring, cable, roller, seal or operator issue may be a good repair candidate. Stop using a door that is crooked, unusually heavy or has a loose cable.
Replacement may make more sense
Consider replacement when several sections are damaged, the door no longer fits the opening well, parts are obsolete, corrosion is extensive or the building needs better insulation and sealing.
